On May 2, 2026, the bilingual poetry book launch for The Way Through Ten Thousand Movements took place. Featuring poems by local multi-award-winning poet Heidi Sander and translations by Louise Liu, the event brought together literary and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate language and heritage. Fifteen Tai Chi practitioners offered graceful performance that echoed the book's artistic conception, vividly bringing Eastern philosophy to life for all attendees. Acclaimed playwright and director Jovanni Sy, known for works including The Tao of the World and Salesman in China, travelled from Montreal to attend the launch. His presence enriched the gathering, bridging artistic expression with cultural storytelling.

Stratford City Mayor Martin Ritsma proudly holds the newly released translation of Stratford Gems, joined by translator Louise Liu, and poet and photographer her Heidi Sander, who presents her original work. The gathering took place in the Council Chambers, celebrating cross-cultural creativity and literary collaboration—bringing inspiration and pride to our local community.
